Located across two campuses in Oley and Leesport, PA, BCTC offers an in-depth dental occupations program ideal for those pursuing a career in the dental field. This program prepares students to assist dentists, work in dental labs, and perform tasks that support patient care and dental procedures.

The 15-month program at BCTC integrates both classroom learning and practical experience in a real-world environment. Students will engage in 1590 hours of instruction, combining lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs. This structure allows students to gain a strong understanding of dental practices and clinical skills.

• Infection Control and Safety: Training in maintaining sterile environments and patient safety.
• Radiology: Exposure to x-ray processes and preparation for the RHS certification.
• Chairside Assisting: Skills for assisting dentists with procedures, patient preparation, and dental tool handling.
• Dental Lab Procedures: Techniques in creating dental prosthetics, making impressions, and managing lab tasks.
• Pharmacology and Patient Care: Basic understanding of medications used in dentistry and patient interaction skills.

• Uniform: Two black scrub tops with the BCTC logo, two pairs of black scrub pants, and one white warm-up jacket with the BCTC logo.
• Footwear: White Zone clogs and white crew socks.
• Safety Gear: BCTC provides one pair of safety glasses; additional pairs or replacement glasses must be purchased by students.
